On 18 December, International Migrants Day, #iSoS project partners, the Regional Expert Group on Migration and Health (REG) will hold an online meeting focused on access to health and social services for migrants from key populations in host countries.
The webinar “Migrant Health Beyond Borders: Human Stories and Pathways to Sustainable Community Health”will bring together community organisations and experts working with refugees and migrants across the region.
The discussion will focus on two key areas: social determinants of health and sustainability of community-based and migrant-led organisations. Participants will reflect on barriers migrants face when seeking medical and social care, practical ways to overcome them, and approaches to sustaining services in the context of growing needs and limited resources.
