On March 3, the regional iSoS project took part in the meeting of the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) of Moldova under the Ministry of Health. As part of a dedicated agenda item, Project Director Serhii Filippovych presented the results of the project’s implementation in the Republic of Moldova under the multi-country Global Fund grant for EECA countries for 2025–2027.
During the presentation, key areas of work were highlighted, including progress in expanding access to PrEP, strengthening the HIV service cascade for key populations, and advancing sustainable service delivery models. Particular attention was given to advocacy in the areas of drug policy and human rights, the institutionalization of the national tripartite dialogue on opioid agonist therapy (OAT), and the promotion of reforms in the context of European integration.
Digital initiatives were also presented, including the introduction of AI-based tools, among them the adaptation and rollout in Moldova of the AI-powered digital assistant TWIIN, providing information on HIV and other topics relevant to key populations. The project also supports the development of digital solutions for NGOs and the strengthening of monitoring systems aimed at increasing the efficiency and sustainability of the HIV response.
Participation in the CCM meeting provided an important platform for dialogue with national partners and for aligning priorities for further work in 2026.
